What To Bring

When you arrive, you will check in and begin the admissions process. Our team will inspect your bags and belongings to ensure no prohibited items enter the facility.

We recommend that you bring the following:

  • A list of names, addresses and phone numbers of friends and family.
  • Jewelry that you wear every day and consider to be a necessity
  • Your current prescription.
  • A list of all your medications and dosages.
  • A small amount of cash
  • Your checkbook, credit card or debit card
  • Your insurance cards and a form of identification
  • A notebook or journal.
  • Stamps and envelopes if you wish to mail letters.
  • Pictures of your loved ones to keep in your room or wallet.
  • Reading materials
  • Comfortable shoes for everyday wear
  • Flip flops for the shower
  • T-shirts, sweaters, cardigans
  • Pants
  • Shorts
  • Dressy outfit for special events
  • Socks
  • Undergarments
  • Bathing suit
  • Pajamas
  • Coat or jacket
  • Bath robe
  • Belt
  • Slippers

What not to bring:

  • Drug paraphernalia or alcohol.
  • Pornography,
  • Laptops, gaming systems, TV’s, tablets.
  • Food, snacks, beverages of any kind
  • Items containing alcohol such as mouthwash, perfume/cologne, aftershave, etc
  • Any Chemical Liquids such as nail polish, and nail polish remover
  • Sharp objects of any kind, sewing needles, scissors, etc. Weapons – This includes guns, knives, mace, fingernail files (except emery boards), straight razors, or any other potential weapons
  • Valuables such as jewelry, etc. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items
  • Unlabeled medication, controlled substances (Xanax, Klonopin, Librium, etc.) and over the counter medication will need to be turned into the office if brought in.

All items brought onsite that are not permitted will be stored, picked up by family or destroyed.
